Whether you're the mother of the bride or the mother of the groom, you'll have many special moments on the big day.

All eyes will be on you as you walk into the ceremony. And what about all those pictures? You may not have shopped for a dress this important since your own wedding. Or you may have that perfect dress but only needs an alteration.

So here are some tips to get you going

Check with the bridal party and check out what colours they are wearing

Choose your colours carefully that don't clash with the Bride or the Bridesmaids

Don't wear black as it will make you look like you are in mourning

Has your company supplied a uniform that does not fit nicely

Have you got a corporate suit or office clothes that do not fit now. Haven't we all.
